Job Purpose:

The Tender, Contract, and Pricing Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of tenders and pricing proposals to DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Health Providers (GPOs), working closely with sales representatives, Regional Sales Managers, and Key Account Managers. This role ensures compliance with local market and national requirements, maintains high-quality tender submissions, and fosters strong relationships with GPO customers while staying informed about the external healthcare landscape.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Tender & Contract Management:
    • Lead the delivery of contract services to public and private health providers in a timely manner.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of tenders in Austria and Switzerland, and contracts and pricing proposals across the DACH region, in accordance with agreed standards and deadlines.
    • Manage contract and tender relationships with key stakeholders, including Procurement Hubs/GPOs, local DACH stakeholders, and private hospital groups.
  • Market Analysis & Benchmarking:
    • Proactively benchmark tender and contract submissions to ensure a best-in-class approach.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of EU Procurement Directives and the DACH healthcare market.
  • Pricing & Data Management:
    • Conduct monthly reviews of expired pricing, modifiers, and contracts, and update internal systems accordingly.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure robust and high-quality tender and data submissions.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Keep the EMEA Tender Manager and DACH sales team fully informed on business conditions and market trends through regular reporting.
    • Manage GPO Management information and adhoc requests.
  • Project Support:
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Line Manager, including special projects outside the region or country.

Languages:

  • Fluency in German and English (verbal and written) is essential.
  • Proficiency in other European languages is an asset.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial functions, ideally in Tender Management, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Public Procurement, or GPOs.
  • Experience within the medical device industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to use persuasion and influencing tactics to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of EU Procurement Directives.
  • Commercial awareness of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of products, services, and the marketplace, including e-procurement portals.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining successful key relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing customer needs.
