Our exciting new client is currently searching for a Head of Nanofabrication Manufacturing to lead the development and scale-up of implantable micro-electrode technology for next-generation brain-computer interfaces.Key responsibilitiesBuild and lead a high-performing microfabrication/manufacturing teamDesign next-generation multi-channel electrode arrays, including layouts, materials, geometries and fabrication processesLead cleanroom manufacturing using techniques such as thin-film processing, photolithography, sputtering, etching/RIE and wet chemistrySelect and assess materials for long-term biocompatibility, stability and signal qualityScale manufacturing from prototype development to reproducible, production-ready processesIdeal candidateProven leadership/team-building experienceStrong hands-on expertise in microfabrication and cleanroom processesKnowledge of MEMS devices and processesUnderstanding of how materials and fabrication affect biocompatibility and neural signal qualityEntrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable taking projects from R&D through to scalable manufacturingDegree/PhD in neuroengineering, microsystems, electrical engineering, physics, biomedical engineering or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
