Overview As a Senior Compiler Engineer, you will shape the compiler and software stack for a novel hardware architecture. You will influence architecture, tooling, and platform direction in collaboration with the founders and hardware engineers. You’ll build a LLVM/MLIR-based compiler stack, optimize for target processors, and translate workloads into efficient execution. This early-stage role offers significant ownership and a clear impact on product direction and performance. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment with a mission to push compute capabilities forward. Verantwortungsbereiche Design and implement a compiler stack for new hardware architecture Create intermediate representations, passes, and lowering pipelines Develop hardware-aware optimisations and code-generation capabilities Translate high-level workloads to efficient target-specific execution Collaborate with founders and hardware engineers on hardware–software co-design Define interfaces across compiler, runtime, and architecture layers Profile, benchmark, and debug generated workloads Contribute to the technical roadmap and engineering standards Zentrale Anforderungen Strong modern C++ development experience Professional compiler engineering experience using LLVM, MLIR or comparable infrastructure Solid understanding of IRs, compiler passes, lowering and optimisation Experience working close to hardware or targeting processors, accelerators or custom silicon Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment Ownership mindset and track record of building technology platforms from ground up Experience developing compilers for GPUs, NPUs, DSPs, FPGAs or other accelerators Independent worker in a fast-moving environment Proactive ownership mindset Collaborative with founders and cross-functional teams C++ LLVM MLIR
