Overview In this role you will advance high-speed analog and mixed-signal IC concepts from early research through circuit design and silicon bring-up in a Swiss Advanced R D team. You will collaborate with architects, modelling and layout engineers to solve challenging circuit problems and push technology into FinFET nodes. The position emphasizes research, innovation, and turning ideas into practical circuits. A strong focus on impact, from concept to verification, makes this an exciting opportunity for hands-on problem solvers. Verantwortungsbereiche Research and develop new analog and mixed-signal concepts for high-speed applications Explore novel architectures to tackle complex circuit and system-level challenges Design and verify high-speed/ high-precision circuits using advanced semiconductor technologies Develop circuit specifications, models and simulation environments Perform pre-layout and post-layout verification with variation-aware analysis Collaborate closely with architects, modelling, layout and system designers Support lab bring-up, silicon debugging and circuit characterization Produce technical analyses and documentation on new concepts, modelling, design and verification Zentrale Anforderungen 5+ years of analog or mixed-signal IC design experience Strong high-speed design experience (SerDes, transceivers, PLLs, CDRs, ADCs, DACs or related) Experience in advanced semiconductor nodes (FinFET 16nm/14nm/7nm) Experience developing new circuit concepts Strong modelling, simulation, signal integrity, signal processing or communications knowledge MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre or HSpice; knowledge of physical verification and parasitic extraction Collaborative mindset Analytical and problem-solving orientation Curiosity and drive for research and innovation SerDes and transceivers PLLs and CDRs ADCs and DACs
