Overview In this Zürich-based role, you will design and optimize high-performance, low-power SRAM and custom digital blocks for compute-in-memory technologies. You will lead architecture, implementation, verification, and silicon correlation for sub-5 nm nodes, shaping critical subsystems. You’ll collaborate with layout teams to ensure robust integration and contribute to scalable methodologies and tooling. This position offers impact across design cycles and cross-functional teams in a cutting-edge field. Verantwortungsbereiche Design and verify embedded SRAM and custom digital blocks (caches, register files, datapath) Optimize performance, power, and area (PPA) for advanced nodes including variation/stability considerations Define digital boundaries and timing budgets for digital-on-top flow Plan and execute silicon correlation, bring-up, characterization, and errata resolution Collaborate with layout on floorplanning, shielding, routing, and EM/IR issues Enhance methodologies through scripting for characterization, regression, and reporting (Python or Tcl) Contribute to specifications, checklists, and reusable collateral Zentrale Anforderungen Master’s or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in custom digital, analog, or SRAM design Proven ownership of complete design cycles for sub-blocks Strong expertise in high-performance and low-power circuit design on FinFET nodes Experience with bitcell stability and periphery trade-offs Excellent communication to define interfaces and constraints across teams Self-directed, organized, and delivery-oriented approach communication self-direction organization embedded SRAM design custom digital blocks FinFET high-performance/low-power design
