Overview

In this role you will lead the development and verification of full-custom analog/mixed-signal IC layouts, collaborating with design teams on floor planning and integration of diverse ASIC blocks. You will oversee block- and top-level layout verification, including extraction, DRC, LVS, and DFM checks, and plan schedules across IP layout engineers. The position focuses on delivering reliable, high-speed layouts while addressing parasitics, IR drop, and electromigration. This is an office-based, senior technical opportunity with impact on cutting-edge analog/mixed-signal IPs.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Lead full-custom IC layout design and verification, including chip floor planning and analog IP layout
  • Perform chip-level layout integration of various analog, mixed-signal, and ASIC blocks
  • Conduct full verification of block-level and top-level layouts (extraction, DRC, LVS, DFM)
  • Plan layout schedules and collaborate with IP layout engineers to integrate blocks
  • Collaborate with designers on block-level and top-level floor planning
  • Review layouts for power/ground routing, electromigration, signal paths, matching, and signal coupling

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with about 8–10 years AMS IC Layout experience
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso design flow
  • High-level proficiency in CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS reports
  • Understanding of IR drop, RC delay, electromigration, and chip finishing
  • Proven ability to perform floor planning and area estimation
  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with high-speed BiCMOS layout is a plus
