Senior Event & Communications Specialist

About the Role
To facilitate ambitious growth plans for 2025, we are looking for a Senior Communications & Events Specialist in the Automotive & Transportation industry to implement communications strategy, organize and coordinate internal & external events, manage media relations, and grow our exposure to the target markets.
Responsibilities
- Further develop and execute our Automotive & Mobility marketing and communications strategy as a part of a Mobility Marketing team.
- Lead the end-to-end event management activities, including negotiating and delivering event sponsorship, coordinating with venues, tradeshow partners, vendors, and employees; coordinating booth materials and marketing assets, speaking opportunities; organizing or supporting webinars and tech-talks.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, influencers, and industry experts to create high-quality publications and visual content.
- Support client-faced activities and work closely with a Customer Marketing team.
- Be responsible for thought leadership & brand awareness campaigns.
- Execute PR strategy, manage media relations and requests, and identify media opportunities to promote Automotive & Mobility expertise in print, broadcast, and digital media.
- Write press releases, speeches, and other PR copy.
- Social media planning and management to support a consistent brand image across various social platforms.
- Develop efficient email marketing activities, including monthly newsletters, automation flows, and segmentation.
- Coordinate partner projects, including promotion at third-party portals, industry reports, and co-marketing activities.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Higher Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree.
- C1 level English written and spoken communication.
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B marketing communications & event management gained while working in a tech company or agency.
- Automotive & Mobility domain background or understanding of the Automotive & Mobility technological landscape.
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Strong networking and pitching skills.
- Experience working directly with journalists, bloggers, and analysts, as well as managing external PR agencies.
- Curiosity, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset.
- Ability to achieve alignment and collaboration among individuals and groups.
- Ability to deliver constructive feedback to peers and executives.
- Passion and commitment to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Self-organized, proactive, upbeat personality.
- Ability to sometimes travel for work tasks.
