Role: Database Engineering Services for Operations Platform Rollout Support Location: Germany(Remote) Contract: 6 months with possible extension Analyzation, planning, coordination, monitoring, documentation, and implementation for: database setup and configuration activities for new application rollouts and production sites data migration and validation activities across development, testing, and production environments data reconciliation and quality assurance activities database maintenance and operational support activities SQL script development, execution, troubleshooting, and optimization database schema changes and application-related database enhancements release and deployment support activities production support and incident resolution activities problem management and root cause analysis activities technical documentation and knowledge management activities implementation of approved database changes following processes and the four-eyes principle Based on our experience recommended qualifications based on previous tasks in a similar environment include: Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Database Engineer or in a comparable role Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases (mandatory) SQL development and troubleshooting skills (mandatory) Experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities (mandatory) Experience with database maintenance and production support activities (mandatory) Experience with incident resolution and root cause analysis (mandatory) Good understanding of relational database concepts, database design, table relationships and normalization (mandatory) Experience with indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions (mandatory) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (mandatory) Experience with Azure-hosted database environments (mandatory) Professional working proficiency in English and German (mandatory) Experience with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow (preferred) Experience with ETL concepts and data integration activities (preferred) Experience with automation or scripting for operational activities (preferred) Experience supporting enterprise-scale business-critical applications (preferred) University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field (mandatory)
