Job Title: SAP Functional Lead – Grower Management
Work Location: Germany (Remote)
Contract: 1 Year with possible extension
Key responsibilities:
Lead functional support for SAP Grower Management with core responsibility for MM and its integration with adjacent GM modules, including procurement, purchase orders, goods receipts, seed stock issue and return, inventory postings, stock discrepancies, contract-related purchasing transactions, harvest/bin receipt flows, settlement touchpoints, field production, quality, finance, reporting, and external interfaces.
Act as team lead for incident and service request triage by assessing business impact, assigning priorities, coordinating ownership, driving escalations, tracking progress, monitoring open items, and ensuring timely stakeholder updates. Perform hands-on analysis, issue reproduction, root-cause assessment, data validation, reconciliation, testing, and resolution of functional issues. Coordinate closely with PP/QM, FI/AP, ABAP, BTP/Fiori, CPI/API integration, security, reporting, and L3/product teams to resolve cross-module issues.
Maintain operational discipline through ticket governance, SLA monitoring inputs, status reporting, runbook updates, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement actions.
Must Have Skills/Knowledge:
Strong SAP S/4HANA MM functional expertise with hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, goods movement, purchase orders, goods receipts, stock issue/return, material master dependencies, purchasing documents, movement types, and integration with finance, production, quality, settlement, reporting, and external interface processes within Grower Management. Proven ability to lead functional support teams, prioritize issues based on business impact, manage escalations, track and monitor open items, publish operational status, and drive timely resolution. Practical L2/AMS support experience in incident triage, root-cause analysis, data validation, reconciliation, testing, documentation, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination in an ITIL-aligned support environment.
Good to Have Skills/Knowledge:
Experience with SAP Grower Management or comparable agri-business / contract farming processes, harvest and bin receipt handling, settlement dependencies, batch or inventory reconciliation, Fiori applications, SAP CALM or similar monitoring tools, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, CPI/API interface coordination, operational dashboards, issue governance forums, and seasonal support models.
