Job Title: SAP MM Functional

Work Location: Germany (Remote)

Contract: 1 Year with possible extension

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Provide L2 functional support for the Materials Management scope of the Grower Management operations model, with focus on procurement, inventory, goods movements, contract-related transactions, harvest/bin receipt integration, stock reconciliation, and MM issue resolution. Support stable day-to-day operations by analyzing incidents, validating transactional and master data dependencies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely resolution of procurement and inventory exceptions.

Key responsibilities:

Analyze and resolve L2 incidents and service requests related to SAP MM processes within the Grower Management lifecycle, including procurement, purchase orders, goods receipts, seed stock issue and return, inventory postings, stock discrepancies, contract-related purchasing transactions, and integration touchpoints with field production, quality, settlement, reporting, and external interfaces.

Validate incident details, reproduce issues, assess business impact, perform root-cause analysis, and classify issues as master data, transactional data, configuration, integration, authorization, UI, or new requirement. Work closely with GM functional lead, PP/QM, FI/AP, ABAP, BTP/Fiori, integration, and security teams to resolve cross-module issues.

Support testing, knowledge transfer, runbook updates, monitoring inputs, reconciliation activities, and escalation to L3/product teams where configuration, code, or design intervention is required.

Must Have Skills/Knowledge:

Strong SAP S/4HANA MM functional expertise with hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, goods movement, purchase orders, goods receipts, stock issue/return, material master dependencies, purchasing documents, movement types, and integration with finance, production, quality, and reporting processes. Practical L2/AMS support experience in incident triage, root-cause analysis, data validation, reconciliation, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Ability to analyze process exceptions across procurement and inventory flows and work effectively with functional, technical, integration, and security teams in an ITIL-aligned support environment.
