Interesting projects and tasks within our engineering department await students of electrical engineering or automation technology for the summer semester 2025.
Our engineers at the Weinheim production site are responsible for approximately 100 machines and systems, ensuring smooth operations in the production of rubber floorings and shoe components. They handle planning, procurement, and maintenance of technical facilities, testing machines, and complex manufacturing equipment. Support also involves assisting the maintenance team during machine failures.
As a student intern in engineering technology, you will:
- Support maintenance engineers and designers in improving, developing, and further developing manufacturing systems
- Work on various projects within our engineering department – electrical engineering
- Assist with the design and commissioning of controls and help develop solutions for production equipment
- Gain insights into the daily work of maintenance engineers and understand the procedures and processes in rubber processing production
You have…
- Completed preliminary studies in electrical engineering or automation technology
- Good PC skills (MS Office)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Step7 and TIA Portal
- Good knowledge in drive technology
