THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a global life sciences company in Switzerland. The Senior Legal Counsel will play an important role in overseeing global clinical trials, negotiating with Contract Research Organizations, and contributing to the daily legal operations of the life sciences business. The Senior Legal Counsel will collaborate closely with senior management. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for various stages of clinical development, including clinical trial agreements, Contract Research Organization agreements, and other trial-related documents

Negotiate agreements with third parties, such as research organizations

Coordinate closely with the senior legal team and develop constructive working relationships

Stay informed about relevant industry developments and regulations governing clinical trials; ensure compliance with Swiss law

Oversee daily business operations, review manuscripts, provide legal input, and assist with other matters as necessary

YOUR PROFILE

A qualified lawyer with prior experience in supporting and negotiating clinical trial operations and agreements

Prior in-house legal experience in Switzerland within the life sciences sector is preferred

Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex legal documents

Excellent drafting and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Highly organized, efficient, and hardworking, with the capability to drive projects forward and meet set timelines
