Overview
In this role you provide legal guidance for Swiss fund product launches and regulatory affairs within an asset-management context. You will draft core fund documents and act as a point of contact with regulators, including FINMA, collaborating with legal and business teams. You’ll monitor Swiss and European regulatory developments, support strategic decisions, and manage submissions and negotiations with third parties. The role offers impact across product structuring, compliance, and cross-border fund vehicles, anchored in a bilingual (German/English) environment. This position in Zurich combines legal expertise with execution at pace on regulatory and contracting work.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Advise on solution development, draft offering documents, negotiate contracts, and submit regulatory filings for Swiss and European funds and investment vehicles
- Draft fund contracts, prospectuses, and articles of incorporation
- Prepare filings and act as primary regulator contact (FINMA)
- Monitor regulatory developments and conduct legal/regulatory research
- Provide strategic input to decision-making processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Law
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the financial sector (in-house or private practice)
- Strong technical knowledge of Swiss fund structures and related regulations
- Excellent drafting, communication, and attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to drive projects and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English and German (additional European languages beneficial)
- EU valid work permit and Switzerland-based
