As our debt platform continues to grow, we are looking for a Loan Asset Manager to join our Risk and Portfolio Management team. The team is responsible for risk management and reporting through the investment cycle and loan asset management from closing to repayment. You will be located in Munich, Stockholm or Copenhagen and work cross-border with colleagues in other countries.
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically strong real estate or finance professional who thrives at the intersection of portfolio management, credit risk, and value creation. You will play a key role in monitoring and managing of a growing portfolio of commercial real estate loans while partnering closely with investment teams, borrowers and other internal and external stakeholders.
What you will be doing
You will have the following tasks within Loan Asset Management:
- Manage a portfolio of real estate loans throughout their lifecycle
- Monitor compliance with loan agreements and assess waiver or amendment requests
- Review loan performance, business plans, development progress, and borrower and sponsor financials
- Prepare recommendations and approval materials for investment and credit committees
- Manage relationships with borrowers, valuation providers, technical advisors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality loan data and portfolio reporting
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments across investments and portfolio exposures
- Identify emerging risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
- Lead ongoing portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and risk reporting
What we're looking for
Your experience can come from real estate investment, asset management, lending, credit risk, banking, or a similar environment. You combine strong analytical capabilities with sound commercial judgement and a collaborative mindset with the following background and competences:
- Track record from real estate, structured finance, banking, lending, or portfolio management
- Relevant degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Being highly analytical and comfortable assessing both investment and operational risks
- Ability to engage clearly, constructively and confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Thriving with working in an entrepreneurial and fast-growing environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and modern data tools
- Fluent German and English skills. Swedish and/or Danish an advantage
