Our team enables IATA to collect, manage, govern, document, and use data in a trusted and consistent way across the organization and with industry partners. /p pThe team supports enterprise data services, data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data platforms that help improve decision-making, operations, and industry collaboration. /p pWithin this team, you will contribute to the IATA Statistics Solution, supporting the methodology, production, analysis, and continuous improvement of industry statistical data and related outputs used across IATA and by industry partners. /p pThis role reports to the Senior Statistician. /p h3What Your Day Would Be Like /h3 pAs Senior Analyst, you will focus on the methodological soundness, analysis, and operational use of data within the IATA Statistics Solution. You will work closely with the Senior Statistician, Data Engineering, business stakeholders, and Data Services colleagues. /p h3Your Key Responsibilities Will Include /h3 ul liApply statistical methods to analyse airline and industry datasets, supporting reliable indicators, trends, validations, and insights from the IATA Statistics Solution. /li liWork with SQL and modern data tooling (including AWS, dbt, and related platforms) to prepare, validate, and improve statistical datasets and analytical workflows. /li liDevelop analytical outputs and lightweight applications (e.g. Streamlit) to support monitoring, reporting, and user-facing analysis. /li liProvide operational support to industry members and internal users by responding to queries, clarifying methodology/definitions, and investigating data or statistical issues. /li liDeliver dedicated statistical studies and ad hoc analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, documentation, controls, and data products. /li /ul h3We would love to hear from you if /h3 ul liA master's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline. /li liAt least 4 years of experience in statistical analysis, applied statistics, or similar roles involving production and interpretation of statistical outputs. /li liHands-on experience with statistical/analytical tools such as R or Python, SQL, and modern data environments (AWS, dbt); Streamlit or similar tools are an advantage. /li liStrong communication and operational support skills, with the ability to explain statistical concepts, respond to user queries, and deliver dedicated studies. /li liPrior experience in a statistical role, for example at an airline, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Ministry of Transport (MoT), central bank, or other large institution, is a strong plus. /li liFluency in English is required. /li /ul pTravel Required: N /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
