About the Role
Reporting to the Principal Data Scientist, the Intern Data Scientist will work within the Data Science team and support the technical implementation of cross-divisional data science solutions that span multiple business areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques. Key Responsibilities
Collect and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conduct analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions by leveraging data science methods. Assist in the development and implementation of statistical modeling and machine learning solutions that integrate with existing systems and processes. Support the generation of actionable insights using machine learning models by working with data from multiple data sources. Coordinate and support engagement activities such as email communications for setting up meetups. Contribute to the project management of the data science portfolio, including monitoring and tracking project progress, timelines, and deliverables. Prepare slides, visualizations, and other presentation materials for key internal and external meetings related to Data Science. Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering. Graduated within the last 12 months. Passion for analysing data or prior internship or work experience in a data-related field, including experience in data science and analysis (advantageous). Knowledge of ML, time series, or deep learning algorithms for regression, classification, forecasting, or clustering problems. Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and generative AI. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL programming. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English. Benefits & Work Environment
