Purpose We are currently building a roster of qualified candidates for short-term G3 (requires 3 years of relevant experience) and G4 (requires 4 years of relevant experience) level roles in administrative and business operations. These positions are integral to team performance, supporting the smooth execution of key functions and ensuring alignment across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the preparation and drafting of briefings, reports, and other documents, developing data visualizations and drafting presentations.
Editing, proofreading, and reviewing official correspondence and technical content in line with established rules and regulations.
Support the operational logistics for events, missions, and high-level meetings, coordinating travel, accommodation, and documentation with precision.
Providing overall support to core project and program functions, including financial monitoring, budgeting, database management, and reporting.
Ensuring effective communication, to track status and workflow processes, document control, and knowledge transfer.
Skills and Attributes
Communicate with clarity and purpose.
Demonstrate strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
Take initiative and ownership of outcomes.
Prioritize client needs and operational goals.
Solve problems independently whilst working collaboratively towards team success.
Qualifications
Currently a legal resident in Austria and have a valid work permit.
Completed secondary education.
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in business, administrative, or operational support.
Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an asset.
Experience in an international or multicultural environment is a strong asset.
Administrative skills test to IAEA standard may be part of the selection process.
Remuneration The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax‑free net base salary. The grade of the assignment will determine the remuneration level.
Stipulated period In line with current IAEA rules and regulations, selected candidates for this type of assignments can be considered for a maximum period of two years on aggregate service.
