OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION The Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the Human Resources Department by leading the Recruiting Process this is including creating job ads, pre-screening applications and conducting interviews and establishing offer letters and employment contracts. He or she recruits for divers positions at all levels (from Operators to Managers and international Specialists) while assuring a positive Candidate experience. In addition, he or she provides hands‑on support during the onboarding phase, such as entering new hire data into HRIS or as back up for organizing initial and other onboarding administration etc.). Further, the role take responsibility for the continuous development of our recruitment processes and tools and lead employer branding initiatives.
TASKS Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
Provide talent acquisition support to line managers for vacancies located mainly in Switzerland and occasionally in our international sites.
Manage requisition process in applicant tracking system.
Lead full recruitment process, this includes pre‑screening of applications and conducting interviews, organizing assessment and establishing offer letters and employment contracts. Depending on the vacancies the recruitment process lead is in collaboration with HRBP, HR Management or other HR colleagues.
Creating and post job openings on internal (i.e. SharePoint) and external job sites (i.e. LinkedIn, jobs.ch)
Partner with local or international job agencies and head‑hunter for specific profiles.
Source candidates from applicant tracking system or external candidate database.
Ensure proper candidate assessment incl. reference check, ensure candidates have proper working visa, if needed support visa applications and immigration process.
Provide positive candidate, hiring manager and any other internal/external customer experiences.
Work closely with all cross‑functional partners in HR to stay up to date on any changing processes, tools, or regulations.
Onboarding support (Training and HR Administration back up)
Prepare IT Access Management and other Onboarding forms, entering Data in HRIS
Prepare onboarding materials for new hires
Organize and coordinate onsite and international training sessions (scheduling, logistics, materials, communication)
Create new hire HR publications and updates on SharePoint (i.e. new hires organizational chart)
Recruitment processes/tools and employer branding
Take responsibility for the development of our recruitment processes and tools
Develop and manage relationships and process with outside vendors in the recruiting process. These vendors include but are not limited temporary agencies, placement /search firms and on‑line service providers.
Support audit and provide reporting related to talent acquisition activities.
Lead employer branding initiatives. Promote employee referral programs.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education: Completed commercial apprenticeship with Federal HR Degree or similar education
Special Knowledge: Proficient in English (verbal and written), ideally with French and/or German mother tongue, any other language is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office
Solid knowledge in Swiss HR, HR Marketing and basic understanding of international HR Environment
Personality: Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information, Strong organizational and coordination skills, Ability to manage multiple tasks
Professional Experience: mind. 4 years of experience in Recruiting of all levels in an international environment, ideally medical device industry.
