To support its Legal Affairs department in Lausanne, Switzerland, the ITA is looking for a committed and passionate:

Junior Legal Counsel (Corporate Affairs) 80-100%

What you will do?

As Junior Legal Counsel, you will support the Legal Affairs team on a broad range of corporate legal matters across the organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help ensure sound legal governance, effective contract management and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of agreements, including service, consultancy, procurement, partnership, research and confidentiality agreements.
• Supporting the preparation and review of agreements with International Federations, Major Event Organisations, National Anti-Doping Organisations, laboratories, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Providing practical legal advice on corporate legal matters, including governance, contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, HR-related matters and compliance.
• Contributing to organisational governance and compliance processes, including regulatory filings and reporting requirements.
• Monitoring contractual obligations, key dates and legal follow-up actions.
• Identifying legal risks and supporting pragmatic, solution-oriented risk management.
• Maintaining legal templates, contract management tools and legal documentation processes.
• Preparing legal briefings, recommendations and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.

Education & Experience

This position is open to recent graduates and early-career legal professionals.

• Master's degree in Law from a Swiss university, or an equivalent foreign law qualification with demonstrated knowledge of Swiss law.
• Bar qualification and/or postgraduate studies in Sports Law would be an advantage.
• Previous internships, traineeships or professional experience in a legal environment would be considered an asset.
• Experience in contract management, compliance, governance or legal operations is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Swiss corporate, association or foundation law.
• Familiarity with sports law and the international sports ecosystem.
• Understanding of anti-doping regulations and the clean sport framework.
• Exposure to data protection, intellectual property, HR, procurement, compliance or competition law matters.

Languages

• English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• French: Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• German: Good written skills and conversational spoken proficiency are an asset.
