Overview
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our Munich Data Center operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of our on‑site infrastructure, from monitoring power and cooling systems to configuring Linux servers (Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux). If you enjoy working directly with server hardware and thrive in a high‑uptime environment, this is the perfect place to grow your technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- 1st & 2nd Level Support: Receiving, qualifying, and processing IT incidents and service requests via ticket system, phone or front desk.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware (server/network devices) and software (Linux).
- You monitor the server/network infrastructure (including power supply, air conditioning, security systems) is your responsibility.
- You take care of the installation and configuration of network components and Linux servers.
- You carry out maintenance work and migrations of hardware and software.
- Asset Management: Maintaining accurate inventory.

- Soft Skills: Strong service orientation, patience when dealing with users, collaborative and team‑oriented mindset, physical ability to handle hardware setups, and a structured, independent way of working.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Linux environments (CentOS, AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu).
- Experience in dealing with business customers.
- Good knowledge of German and English (at least B2 level).
