Overview
In this role you will oversee and harmonize OT hardware and software across manufacturing sites, collaborating with local IT/OT teams to secure critical assets. You will shape and roll out a global OT security strategy, assess vendors, and report on cyber threats to governance bodies. You will drive uniform OT configurations, support cross-functional security initiatives, and build a network of OT leads to strengthen resilience against malware and attacks. This is a hands-on, global security leadership role with meaningful impact on production safety and efficiency.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of manufacturing hardware/software including PLC, SCADA, HMI and MES
- Develop and roll-out a global operational security strategy for OT assets
- Assess vendors for secure OT applications and systems
- Report to governing bodies on new and emerging cyber threats
- Implement uniform OT technology, configurations and protocols
- Create a network of local OT responsibles with MDs/Head of plants
- Cooperate with central IT on network segmentation to increase OT safety
- Visit plants to assess information security risks related to software/hardware/third-party applications
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or comparable
- Minimum 5 years in industrial automation/IT+OT in manufacturing
- Deep knowledge of OT frameworks (e.g. ICS, SCADA)
- Experience with MES and OT-MES integration
- Certified knowledge on cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO/IEC 27001)
- C1 in English and German; other languages a plus
- Willingness for frequent international travel
- Strong problem solving and prioritization, ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Experience in managing projects (budgeting, resources) and vendor management
