Group Accounting & ESG Reporting Specialist in Düsseldorf

Shape the future of financial and sustainability reporting in an international environment. Join our Group Finance team and contribute to consolidated financial reporting under German GAAP (HGB) for two international groups and take an active role in ESRS-compliant sustainability reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for international group structures

• Ensure compliance with HGB, Group Accounting policies and ESG reporting according ESRS

• Collect, validate, analyze and prepare financial and non-financial information for internal and external stakeholders

• Take an active role in the operational sustainability reporting process in accordance with ESRS requirements

• Contribute to shareholder reporting according HGB and ESRS and to the continuous improvement of consolidation processes and of the sustainability KPI framework

• Collaborate closely with international finance teams, sustainability stakeholders, and other cross-functional data owners

• Drive continuous improvements in reporting quality, controls, and digital reporting solutions

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

• Around three years of relevant professional experience in Group Accounting / Consolidation and/or ESG Reporting

• Solid knowledge HGB and a good understanding of consolidation principles and financial reporting processes

• Practical experience or a good understanding of ESG / sustainability reporting according ESRS or a strong motivation to build expertise in this area

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reporting systems; BI tools are a plus

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, structured working style and willingness to develop expertise across both financial and ESG reporting

• Fluent German and English
