We are expanding our IT Operations & Support team and looking for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Specialist to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) services at Intersnack IT. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and operation of identity and access systems that support the Intersnack Group. Your work will ensure secure and efficient access to company resources, systems, and data; while complying with internal policies, meeting audit requirements, and reducing security risks across our global organisation.

How you will spend your time as our IAM Operations Specialist :
As our next IAM Operations Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting our identity and access landscape. You will coordinate and administer user access to systems, applications, and data, ensure compliance with internal policies, and act as a key contact for IAM- and PAM-related questions and incidents.
Coordinate user account provisioning, deprovisioning, and modifications to roles and access rights across multiple systems and applications, following IAM lifecycle processes such as Joiner, Leaver, Mover, and Changer.
Conduct regular access reviews and enforce the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP).
Support and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes and documentation.
Create and maintain documentation such as operating procedures and training materials.
Support the development of IAM standards and procedures in line with company policies.
Provide guidance to users and support internal and external audit activities.
Investigate and triage identity-related incidents, escalating where needed.
Offer technical support to end users for access-related issues.
Deliver user training on identity and access processes and tools.
What we expect of you :
At least 3 years of experience in identity and access management, IT administration, or a related IT security role.
Practical experience with technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Understanding of access control models such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Token-Based Access Control (TBAC).
Familiarity with implementation of SAML 2.0 and OAuth is welcome.
Solid understanding of IAM lifecycle processes, including Joiner, Leaver, Mover, and Changer procedures.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, solution-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations.
A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
