Senior Project Manager - Battery Energy Storage (Customer Focused)

Our Client – A German cleantech scale-up pioneering a next-generation energy storage solution based on safe, sustainable, and scalable technology. Backed by over 200 employees and with international offices in the US and Europe, they’re moving from deep R&D into commercial production, and now need an experienced Senior Project Manager to help deliver their flagship battery projects to customers across the region

Role Summary – We're in search of a hands-on, customer-facing project manager with experience in a commercial project function. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end execution of client projects. From sales handover to delivery, and acting as the sole PM across cross-functional departments. You’ll work directly with customers and report to the Sales Director.

Salary: €120,000 base + benefits + relocation package

Key Responsibilities –

• Manage high-value B2B battery storage projects.
• Oversee all delivery milestones, contracts, and communication
• Be the bridge between internal technical teams and external commercial stakeholders
• Coordinate resources across engineering, product, and sales
• Own project budgets, schedules, and risk management
• Ensure excellent customer experience and successful project outcomes

Requirements –

• Project management experience in the battery energy storage industry.
• Proven success delivering customer-facing, commercially complex projects
• Fluent in German & English – this is non-negotiable due to customer interaction
• Strong background in contract and stakeholder management
• PMI, CAPM, or IPMA certification is a plus
