~ Fluent English and German mandatory I'm partnered with a global market leading manufacturing business located in Munich that is searching for a Global Commodity Manager Electronics professional to join their function and lead this commodity. With a presence in over 10 countries this is a truly global position that will allow the successful applicant to define and implement the strategy across the entire business. Responsibilities
~ Lead the global Electronics sourcing portfolio, shaping supplier strategy, commercial direction and risk management across key technologies and supply markets. Drive alignment between regional teams, ensuring consistent execution of sourcing priorities and supplier plans.
~ Responsible for procuring electronic components such as PCBA's, semiconductors, connectors, switches, capacitors, inductors, resistors etc.
~ Build high-performing supplier networks that enhance resilience, competitiveness and innovation, using market intelligence to anticipate supply, technology and lifecycle risks. Collaborate with business functions to balance technical, operational and commercial requirements.
~ Deliver strategic value through supplier partnerships and sourcing initiatives, strengthening commercial agreements, improving performance and securing continuity of supply. Monitor market dynamics and category outcomes to drive cost optimisation, mitigate risk and support business growth.

Experience Required:
~5+ years of strategic procurement experience with a focus on electronic components. Candidates must have experience in purchasing electronic components such as PCBA's, semiconductors, connectors, switches, capacitors, inductors, resistors etc.
~ Experience dealing with EMS suppliers.
~ Technical degree within engineering, supply chain, business or a similar field
~ Demonstrated success leading category strategies within global matrix organisations, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and procurement teams to deliver business objectives.
