Team Leader of FM Procurement (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Team Lead of FM (Facilities Management) Procurement to support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of procurement strategies within the pharmaceutical vertical. This role works closely with the senior procurement stakeholders, site operations, engineering, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance, strong supplier partnerships, and effective delivery of commercial value for both the client and the business.

Responsibilities

• Support the business in implementing procurement strategies aligned with facilities management and the client needs.
• Develop and maintain client Procurement Plans in collaboration with operations teams.
• Ensure high compliance with supplier service contracts and company procurement policies.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve service issues, and maintain continuity of critical operations.
• Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation through strategic sourcing and negotiations
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct assessments, and maintain documentation compliance
• Provide regular procurement reporting, including KPIs, savings, sourcing activity, and supplier performance updates.
• Support annual maintenance planning with suppliers and operational teams.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure responsible procurement practices.
• Assist with audits and support training related to strategic sourcing.
• Represent procurement in client meetings and act as deputy for the Procurement Lead when required.

Experience Required:

• Several years of facilities management procurement experience, ideally with an IFM provider or industry client, covering both hard & soft categories
• Hard facility management experience is preferred
• Fluent English & German language mandatory
• Strong experience working with global suppliers and developing relationships across the EMEA regions
• Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software
