We are partnering with a deep-tech scale-up in Bochum who are building out their Finance team as the business enters a new phase of growth.
This is a broad, hands‑on accounting role covering payables, receivables and bookkeeping, and it is a good fit for someone who wants variety and room to grow.
The role
- Process and review supplier invoices, with correct account, cost-centre and project allocation
- Prepare and run payment runs, and reconcile supplier accounts
- Manage accounts receivable
- Handle income and payroll-related accounting
- Process employee expenses and corporate card transactions
- Support monthly closing, including accruals and reconciliations
- Help improve and automate invoice and payment processes
About you
- Commercial training, or a degree in business administration, accounting or similar
- Professional experience in accounts payable or financial accounting
- Good understanding of German accounting and VAT principles
- DATEV and good Excel skills
- Accurate, reliable and able to work independently
- Very good German and good English. Experience in a manufacturing or purchasing-heavy environment is an advantage
