Job Title: Senior (Lead) Satellite & Space Systems Engineer
Employment Type: 6-12 Month Contract
Eligibility: EU / EEA Citizens or candidates with the right to work in Luxembourg or Germany
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior (Lead) Satellite & Space Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering activities across next-generation SmallSat programmes, supporting projects through Phase C/D from design to integration, verification, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system requirements, interfaces, and verification
- Support satellite AIT and functional testing
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, thermal, and AOCS subsystems
- Perform system analysis and design trade-offs
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Satellite / Space Systems Engineering
- Strong experience with Systems Engineering, requirements management, and verification
- Hands-on satellite integration and testing
- Experience with DOORS, STK, SCOS, UML/SysML, and TCL Scripting
- Strong knowledge of satellite systems and space missions
Nice to Have
- SmallSat or Earth Observation missions
- Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, Power, or AOCS expertise
