The Position
We are a spin-off of the RWTH Aachen University, which makes recyclable plastic packaging for various applications possible using a special coating technology. We are looking for a senior software developer automation (m/f/d) to join us in building a company that will significantly advance the circular economy for plastics in Germany and the world.
Your Mission

You are responsible for the development and maintenance of automation software in the field of process engineering and motion control

You develop tools to optimize software development and validation

You are responsible for the development and integration of system and software architectures

You define software standards and create and maintain program libraries

You are responsible for commissioning at national and international level
Your Profile

You have an academic degree in the field of electrical engineering (automation), a degree as a state-certified electrical technician or many years of professional experience in this field

You have at least 5 years of work experience in the areas of software development and automation in a dynamic corporate environment

You have a strong background in PLC programming and also have knowledge in high-level language programming

You have user and programming skills in visualization and electronic drive technology

You like to take responsibility and convince with a confident and professional manner

You are business fluent in German and English
