To support our Strategic Business Excellence (SBE) unit in Munich, we are looking for a New Product Planning Manager (m/w/d) .
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver integrated launch readiness strategies in alignment with Ipsen Global.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment across DACH on launch strategies, based on robust information and insights from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop an integrated early launch readiness strategy for the selected product(s).
- Liaise closely with all relevant stakeholders at local and global levels to ensure DACH input and requirements are incorporated into global launch plans in a timely manner.
- Ensure appropriate portfolio prioritization based on launch strategies and robust forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to evolve the portfolio through local business development and licensing.
- Consider portfolio trade-offs to maximize long-term business in DACH.
- Stay informed on external market trends and external environment changes.
- Leverage understanding of the external environment and brand strategy to create new commercial/value offerings.
- Maintain awareness of external trends, customer insights, challenges, and opportunities to keep local strategy competitive.
- Utilize insights from DACH Regulatory, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to inform product lifecycle strategies.
- Identify emerging trends in DACH for accelerated access and monitor competitor intelligence.
- Coordinate local strategic planning processes and follow up on actions.
- Engage with stakeholders across the health ecosystem and develop insights capture plans.
- Map relevant customers for products to gather insights and feedback.
- Gather insights through various means like 1:1s, advisory boards, and market research.
- Maintain collaboration with local and global teams to ensure alignment of commercial offerings.
- Report regularly to leadership on portfolio, data, and priorities.
- Handle ad hoc requests related to responsibilities.
- Support leadership team and business unit meetings and decision-making processes.
- Establish key milestones and KPIs for projects.
- Proactively share insights with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the DACH policy team for regional alignment.
- Ensure all projects and communications comply with ABPI code and internal policies, obtaining necessary approvals.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Cross-functional launch experience, especially in medical, market access, and commercial areas.
- Proven track record in creating strategies and delivering solutions for product launches.
- Operations management experience/knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in Oncology, Neuroscience, or Rare Diseases preferred.
- Strong project scoping, strategic planning, and management skills.
- Fluent in English.
