IBS Manager (m/f/x) – Offshore

For a project partner, we are looking for a dedicated IBS Manager (m/f/x) for offshore deployment in Forchheim, to support HVDC systems and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Completed degree or master\’s degree/technician in electrical engineering, energy technology, or similar.
• Several years of experience in commissioning large systems (HVDC, power plants, etc.)
• Willingness to travel (worldwide), including offshore)
• Basic knowledge of project management
• Very good German and fluent English
• Class B driver\’s license
• Team and leadership skills, strong international communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing tests and commissioning of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-oriented manner
• Leading an international team of commissioning engineers
• Ensuring contractual obligations and compliance with legal regulations
• Organizing functional system tests/factory acceptance tests on our test sites
• Ensuring trouble-free construction site operations and monitoring progress
• Planning and implementing technical customer clarifications
• Supporting project management in risk and claim management
• Participating in internal improvement programs (including Lean, Reviews, Lessons Learned)
