pThe bSenior Clinical Supply Chain Manager /b is responsible for leading the strategic planning, oversight, and delivery of a portfolio of clinical supply chain projects, ensuring the effective and timely provision of clinical trial supplies across global studies. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the ongoing evolution and optimisation of Clinical Trial Supplies processes, systems, and capabilities. /p h3Essential Functions /h3 ul liInterpret clinical trial protocols to create and execute an effective clinical trial supply chain solution. /li liCreate master English label text in accordance with relevant regulatory framework (e.g. Annex 13). /li liCreate and maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans so that packed clinical supplies are readily available in accordance with the project requirements. /li liInitiate packaging campaigns with the assigned vendor and provide oversight to ensure on-time delivery. /li liSetup, monitor, and where necessary, update study assigned Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems to ensure study inventory is effectively managed. /li liCreate an appropriate distribution plan and have oversight of the assigned vendor(s) executing it. /li liAbility to work independently and proactively to ensure that the supply of all trial materials is delivered to the right place at the right time. /li liProvide ongoing budget tracking activities so that projects are run efficiently and in accordance with client approved quotations. /li liMaintains 100% compliance on all assigned training and applies learnings to everyday practice. /li liRemain up to date in all GxP and regulatory requirements applicable to the role. /li liLeads client and vendor related meetings where necessary to discuss clinical supply chain topics or status updates. /li liCreates a Temperature Excursion management plan. /li liManages the review and assessment process of Temperature Excursions reported to the IQVIA Clinical Trial Supplies team. /li liConducts thorough and regular risk management assessments to ensure all risks are systematically reviewed and appropriate mitigations are executed. /li liSupport client bid defence meetings as required. /li liSupports the development and optimisation of the CTS department and processes. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in Clinical Supply Chain Management within the clinical trials industry. /li liHands-on experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems, including their use in clinical trial supply planning and management. /li liDemonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple priorities effectively. /li liProven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and influence outcomes. /li liEffective problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. /li liFluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. /li /ul pIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
