IT Support Team Leader (m/w/d) – Leipzig, Germany

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic IT Support Team Leader to join our team in Leipzig, Germany. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring top-notch IT service delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 IT support professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring all systems and services meet our high standards and end-user requirements.
• Develop and implement IT programs to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new IT staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and training.
• Manage change, problem, and asset management processes.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our IT environment and service desk operations.
• Collaborate with IT management to align team resources with strategic goals.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal SOPs.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Manage resource planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Windows, O365, and MS Office products.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN environments.
• Familiarity with communication systems and devices.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in German with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in IT support, ideally including project management and team leadership.
