Overview
As Associate Director, Biostatistics, you will lead a regional/global team within Global Biostatistics, guiding statistical strategy and technical direction for trials across phases. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure scientific integrity and efficient project execution, while supporting strategic planning and resource allocation. You will act as a site/functional head, overseeing studies, documentation, and client-facing activities, and contribute to proposal development and budgeting. This role offers global exposure and impact across multiple therapeutic areas.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and manage Biostatistics staff regionaly/globallly and act as site/functional head
- Provide direction on project assignments and interface with clients and internal teams
- Ensure scientific integrity in statistical methodology for clinical trials
- Assist Director in strategic planning, resource allocation, and budget projections
- Oversee studies and guidance on documentation/output development and review
- Support proposal development, project allocation, and client presentations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- BSc or MSc in Biostatistics or related field
- 10+ years of life-science industry experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Familiarity with complex statistical methods for Phase I–IV trials
- Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines
- Familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods
- Strong working knowledge of SAS
- Working knowledge of data standards such as CDISC/ADaM
