Senior Supply Chain Manager - Demand Planning (m/f/d)

Are you structured and confident, do you feel comfortable creating and optimizing demand forecasts and negotiating with suppliers? Then you\’ve come to the right place!

Your Qualification

Education

• Degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or a comparable qualification

Experience

• Several years of experience in supply chain management, ideally with a focus on demand planning
• Experience in the analysis and creation of demand forecasts and the application of corresponding software solutions
• Practical experience in dealing with complex supply chains and international markets

Professional Skills

• Sound knowledge of demand planning tools (e.g. SAP or similar systems)
• Confident handling of ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel
• Analytical skills in data analysis and forecasting
• Business understanding of S&OP processes
• Knowledge of using KPIs to monitor and improve supply chain performance

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external interfaces
• Solution-oriented approach and ability to respond quickly to change in a dynamic environment
• High degree of initiative and self-organization as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to present complex relationships clearly and precisely and derive action plans
• Affinity for data-driven work and continuous improvement

Your Tasks

Operational

• Creating and updating demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends and sales analyses
• Maintaining and using demand planning tools to optimize forecast accuracy
• Supporting inventory monitoring and optimization to avoid bottlenecks and overstocking
• Coordinating with the Purchasing, Sales, Customer Success and Logistics departments to ensure a smooth flow of goods
• Analyzing discrepancies between demand forecasts and actual demand and deriving measures to improve the quality of forecasts
• Supporting the implementation of improvement measures in the supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Strategic

• Development and further development of the demand planning strategy
• Analyzing market trends, seasonal fluctuations and new technologies to continuously optimize our demand planning processes
• Working closely with Sales, eCommerce and Finance to develop scenario analyses and their impact on demand
• Identifying risks and opportunities along the supply chain and developing measures to minimize risks and increase efficiency
• Participation in cross-divisional projects to optimize supply chain processes and implement new demand planning technologies
