For an internationally active, technology-driven investment firm in Vienna, we are building a highly selective in-house research function focused on identifying the
top 0.1% of quantitative talent globally .
This is
not a traditional HR role .
This is a high-precision research position requiring analytical sharpness, intellectual rigor and uncompromising standards.
What You Will Do
Identify and engage exceptional quantitative researchers, PhDs and top-tier analysts (EU / US)
Rigorously analyze CVs with investment-level precision
Rank and filter candidates under strict excellence criteria
Build long-term pipelines with strong Vienna / EU retention logic
Work closely with the investment team to understand performance drivers
Develop sourcing strategies beyond standard LinkedIn outreach
What We Are Looking For
Research-heavy recruiting background
or
Finance / Quant background with exposure to talent selection
Exceptional attention to detail (you spot inconsistencies immediately)
Strong pattern recognition (institutional quality, academic pedigree, brand relevance)
Decisiveness under time pressure
Ownership mindset & intellectual curiosity
