Mission Brief

In our Launcher AIT (Assembly, Integration, Testing) Team, you are jointly responsible for the technically flawless and timely delivery of our launch vehicles, from the assembly of the first structural elements through our fluid and avionic systems to acceptance tests.Our dynamic multinational team builds and maintains the flight hardware in close collaboration with our engineers and the Integrated Testing team at our launch base.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

• Manufacturing and assembly of structural components and assemblies made from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) according to drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications
• Production and processingCFRPcomponents for space applications
• Creation and adaptation of jigs (fixtures) and tooling to support the manufacturing process
• Drillcompositematerialsand install rivets and fasteners
• Performstructuralbodings
• Inspection, control, and quality assurance of manufactured CFRP components according to space industry standards
• Cautiousexecution of all work stepswhilealways maintaining an orderly and safe working environmentunder high cleanliness requirements
• Documentation of work steps according to specific regulations
• Close collaboration with other departments such as engineering and quality assurance
• Participation in test and launch campaignsat differentlocations inside and outside of Germany

Qualification Checklist

• Completed vocational training as a manufacturing technician, aircraft mechanic, or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in structural assembly or manufacturing, ideally intheaerospace sector
• In-depth knowledge in processing and handling CFRP; experience with metalworking is an advantage
• Experience with 3D printing processes isappreciated
• Experience in the creation and adaptation of jigs (fixtures) and tooling is an advantage
• Proficient in reading and working with technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Good manual skills, strong quality awareness, and a high standard of cleanliness and precision in all tasks
• Willingness to travel occasionally for campaign assignments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
