The position is newly created to develop in-house software applications, to improve business process automation, reduce risks, and create new business opportunities that supportour strategic growth objectives. The place of work for this position is Zurich, and you will work closely alongside various business stakeholders, operations teams, product specialists, and IT colleagues to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ISP Group. We prefer on-site presence throughout for this position.Your primary responsibilities will include:Application DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and maintain internal business applicationsBuild solutions that support ISP's core business processes including:Product onboardingProduct lifecycle managementTrade processingPayments processingDevelop high-quality, maintainable, and secure software solutionsEnsure all solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality standardsAPI Integration DevelopmentDesign and develop APIs and integration servicesIntegrate internal applications with third-party platforms and service providersMaintain and support existing integrations across business and technology platformsImprove operational efficiency through automation and straight through processingProduct EngineeringCollaborate with business stakeholders and business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technology solutions.Participate in solution architecture discussions.Deliver new features and enhancements to existing applications.Support the organization's growth initiatives through technology innovation.Application Support OperationsProvide third-line support for internally developed applications.Troubleshoot production incidents and resolve application defects.Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure applications remain reliable and secure.Security ComplianceApply secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Ensure solutions comply with ISP policies and regulatory requirements.Support audit, risk, and compliance activities where required.Maintain appropriate logging, monitoring, and auditability within applications.Documentation Knowledge ManagementCreate and maintain technical documentation.Document solution designs, architectures, and support procedures.Contribute to knowledge sharing within the IT team.Support business users through training and knowledge transfer activities.We are looking for candidates fitting below requirements:Financial services experience3+ years in Python backend development with some exposure to frontendHas worked with SQL with some exposure to Postgres DatabasesDocker and ContainerizationMicrosoft Azure (Function Apps, App Service, Blob Storage, Key Containers, IAM, Managed Identities)Iaas and Paas solutionsPreferred Certifications (Nice to Have):Wealth management or asset management experience.Securities, structured products, or fund administration knowledge.Exposure to regulatory environmentsIntegration of third‑party financial platforms and services.Has worked with AI enterprise solutionsTo be successful in this position requires excellent self‑management skills, with an ability to deliver high‑quality output even under challenging circumstances. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in IT operations and system administration, with proven expertise in building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
