Home and Family Language Teachers:
Turkish
Minijob (up to 5 hours per week). Starting as soon as possible. This position is initially until July 2025.
Skills necessary for the position:
- Has at least a Bachelor’s degree and a qualified teacher status and is experienced in working with children
- Is motivated and enthusiastic about teaching literature, language and culture in the corresponding language
- Can support our students in accessing the school’s curriculum
- Can collaboratively plan with mainstream teachers
- Can liaise and consult with the Lower School Home and Family Language Program to provide continuity
- Can keep materials up to date
- Can communicate in English
- Has up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people
- Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- Values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
