For our customer, a big pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a highly qualified CAP Member.
Background
This role is embedded in a young team with more than 20 people. As a member of CAP, you work closely together with your team. But you also represent Finance out of Basel and support colleagues located locally and around the world.
The perfect candidate
As a member of CAP (Center Accounting Practices), you manage some of the Core Finance Processes and have a strong financial backbone. The candidate is excited by the vision and is capable of working in a fast-changing and challenging environment. They display a finance mindset and behavior and will support a living organism that leverages the knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver foundational work and squad-prioritized work in line with the organizational principles. The person brings strong finance expertise, together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy, sharing and receiving feedback, and living collaborative accountability. The candidate will be a catalyst for the finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, leaning in as a coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. The person has a passion for comprehending new tasks and challenges, piloting new approaches, and constructively challenging the status quo.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Variable accounting tasks based on the individual team needs
- Assist the preparation of the monthly Reporting for individual Roche Companies
- Prepare individual analytic reports
- Create new or maintain existing SOPs
- Controlling tasks
- Support individual Accounting Projects on request
Must Haves
- Financial degree or equivalent degree
- Min. 2 years experience in finance
- Proven finance capabilities (IFRS and Swiss or German statutory) and technical skills
- SAP experience
- Collaboration and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that inspires others
- Ability to navigate through complex, broad and diverse challenges
- Deliver compliant high-quality financials, ensure company compliance
- Ability to work E2E with an enterprise view
- Passionate about transformation and catalyzing those changes across the network
