Your tasks and responsibilities
- As a Data Strategist, you are responsible for the strategic alignment and operational implementation of data management for Magnetom MR scanners. This covers the entire value chain – from data generation at the scanner as part of a fleet, to storage in the cloud, and to answering business‑relevant questions regarding the condition, operation, and usage of the Magnetom MR scanner fleet.
- As a Data Architect, you ensure the generation, transmission, and analysis of machine data and machine information created during system operation. Where required, you design migration strategies for data generation on the scanners.
- You are responsible for efficient data management, which serves as the foundation for holistic, data‑driven decision‑making.
- You drive the continuous monitoring of the scanner fleet, thereby supporting customers, Customer Service, and Product Lifecycle Management in their operations. Through monitoring, you maintain an up‑to‑date view of the installed base, enabling you to identify changes at an early stage and ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- You are responsible for the strategic design of data generation in the context of technological innovations, with the goal of sustainably increasing the operational availability of our fleet through maximum diagnosability and data‑driven maintenance concepts.
- You hold a completed Master’s degree in Data Science, (Business) Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics with a focus on data analysis, or a comparable field.
- You also have many years of professional experience in the (strategic) handling of large data volumes, for example as a Software Architect or Data Strategist, preferably in a regulated environment such as healthcare.
- You have proven expertise in project management within software development and/or software architecture.
- In addition, you possess in‑depth hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art technologies, particularly .NET, C#, and C++, as well as solid knowledge in system modeling using UML.
- You have advanced expertise in successfully implementing multiple software architecture migration projects in complex and large‑scale software systems.
- You are highly confident working in cloud environments.
- Ideally, you can provide certifications such as SSWA or SWA, Microsoft Curriculum Certificates, or Data Science training certifications.
Your attributes and skills
- You work in an international environment and therefore have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- You possess strong communication and facilitation skills, which you apply effectively in your role as an interface between different stakeholders.
- Your intercultural competence further supports effective collaboration with colleagues around the globe.
- Your strong solution‑oriented mindset enables you to resolve complex challenges efficiently.
- You stand out through an analytical and structured way of thinking and working, allowing you to continuously and sustainably improve our data management.
- A passion for the strategic use of large data volumes rounds off your profile. xayajpt
