Head of Finance Digital Sales (f/m/d)
In this finance leadership role, you combine internal financial governance, Saa S/Cloud business steering, and CRM controlling with strong commercial partnering for digital sales programs.
You act as a trusted finance partner for business management, Growth & Operations leadership, and sales organizations, enabling data‑driven decision making covering a scope from license‑based to recurring and AI‑driven digital business models.
Work Location & Flexibility
Work mobile within Germany up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours, in consultation with your manager.
Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Responsibilities
- Global Finance Leadership & CRM Controlling
- You own global CRM planning and controlling processes for our business line Digital & Automation, ensuring high‑quality decision‑relevant information for management.
- You lead and develop the Digital Sales Finance / CRM team with disciplinary responsibility, fostering performance, engagement, and change readiness.
- You drive harmonization and continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting across regions and zones.
- You act as finance business partner for Growth & Operations, business management, marketing and customer service leadership.
- As leader you drive progress through collaboration, workings across departments, processes and organizational units.
- Saa S / Cloud Financial Steering
- You design and steer financial operating models for Saa S and cloud‑based imaging.
- You translate digital business models into planning, forecasting, and performance management frameworks.
- You support investment decisions, portfolio steering, and profitability optimization for software and digital offerings.
- You develop and govern financial sales programs, pricing and contracting frameworks.
- You support sales organizations with deal structuring, financial modeling, and business cases for enterprise customers.
- You ensure alignment of commercial models with revenue recognition requirements.
- You contribute to the design of incentive and commission concepts supporting recurring revenue growth.
- Strategic Transformation & Business Partnering
- You provide financial insights on market trends, customer economics, and competitive positioning.
- You own and drive operational business transformation, fostering continuous improvement and enabling effective change across core business processes.
- You enable cross‑functional collaboration between Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field.
- You bring long‑term international experience in Finance, CRM Controlling, and digital or software‑driven business environments.
- In addition, you have extensive leadership experience in managing cross‑functional and cross‑hierarchical teams.
- You demonstrate strong expertise in financial planning, controlling, business performance management, and digital business models.
- You have hands‑on experience with Saa S / cloud economics and software business models.
- You impress with your comprehensive understanding of financial compliance, governance, and revenue recognition in complex contractual structures.
- You bring a strong track record in leading operational business transformation initiatives, including process optimization, change management, and cross‑functional stakeholder alignment.

- You are business fluent in English; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
