OT Manager (Permanent Role) Our client is a global speciality chemicals business with a proud history of innovation dating back more than a century. The Operational Technology Manager is a strategic, business-facing role that focuses on integrating IT and OT environments, enhancing industrial automation, and improving digital operations. This is not a hands-on engineering or operations role; it\’s about strategy, architecture, project leadership, and IT/OT collaboration. Location: Remote, Germany or hybrid in Barcelona, Spain Type: Permanent position Define and drive the IT/OT integration strategy aligned with digital manufacturing and Industry 4.Act as a project lead for OT-related initiatives, such as MES upgrades, SCADA integration, and cybersecurity enhancements Provide oversight across SCADA, PLC, MES, ALM, and industrial network infrastructure projects You understand industrial network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application lifecycle management, even if you don’t configure systems yourself You are comfortable leading cross-functional projects and working in environments with high availability and strict compliance needs Bonus if you’ve worked with digital manufacturing tools, IoT platforms, or have familiarity with MES/MOM architectures If you’re passionate about digital transformation in manufacturing and can bridge the gap between IT and OT, we want to hear from you.
