Working at the heart of IWC’s product organization, you develop and execute long‑term product strategies, translate market insights, customer expectations and the Maison’s product vision into compelling new watches. The position supervises a Product Strategy intern and reports directly to the Associate Director Product Strategy Heritage. Partnering with key cross‑functional departments within IWC, the role combines strategic thinking, creativity and a profound understanding of mechanical watchmaking to help define the next generation of IWC timepieces. /p h3YOUR MISSION AT IWC. /h3 h3Product Strategy Portfolio Development /h3 ul liDevelop and implement long‑term product strategies for the Ingenieur and Portugieser collections, translating IWC’s product vision into concrete development roadmaps. /li liDrive strategic product development projects in close collaboration with Design, RD, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Finance and lead major strategic initiatives across IWC’s overall product portfolio. /li liIdentify new product opportunities through analysis of customer needs, market developments, competitors and emerging trends in the luxury watch industry. /li liDevelop recommendations for product concepts, positioning, pricing and collection architecture to strengthen product desirability and commercial performance. /li liAnalyze and monitor the performance of existing collections, identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization and future growth. /li liPrepare strategic product presentations and recommendations for senior management and Executive Committee decision meetings. /li liContribute to the development and expansion of IWC’s female product offer. /li /ul h3Launch Product Leadership /h3 ul liDevelop 360° product launch strategies for new collections and novelties in collaboration with Marketing, Communications and Sales. /li liEnsure consistent product positioning, storytelling and messaging across all launch activities and product‑related content. /li liAct as a product expert and ambassador for IWC, presenting new products and collections to international journalists, collectors, clients and other key stakeholders. /li liSupport major international launches, events and product presentations. /li /ul h3Project Coordination Mentoring /h3 ul liCoordinate cross‑functional project teams, ensuring alignment and progress across product development and strategic initiatives. /li liSupervise and mentor the Product Strategy intern, providing guidance and supporting professional development. /li /ul h3How You Become Part Of The Journey. /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a comparable field. /li li3+ years of relevant professional experience in the luxury watch industry, preferably in Product Management, Product Strategy or a closely product‑related function. /li liStrong expertise of mechanical watches, including movements, complications, materials and key product characteristics. /li liAbove‑average knowledge of the luxury watch industry, including its major competitors, product segments, market dynamics and emerging trends. /li liStrong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable product recommendations. /li liGenuine passion for product, design and innovation, combined with a strong commercial mindset. /li liProactive, creative and structured personality with a high degree of ownership and attention to detail. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels. /li liFluent in English; German and/or French are an advantage. /li /ul pAbove all, we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for mechanical watches and the ambition to help shape the future of IWC’s collections. /p h3What You Can Expect From Us. /h3 pIWC offers you a challenging working environment: rooted in Switzerland, but operating successfully internationally.
