Company Overview
A Japanese manufacturer of automotive parts (e.g., gaskets and seals) in Düsseldorf is seeking a Sales Representative for their Düsseldorf office. Currently, around 25 employees work at their sales office.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquire new projects among existing European customers (e.g., Tier 1, Tier 3).
- Acquire new customers across Europe.
- Manage customer relationships and cater to their needs.
- Plan budgets and create forecasts.
- Manage projects, meeting deadlines and customer targets.
- Support and manage customer release processes.
- Handle customer claims and complaints.
- Ensure timely delivery of urgent parts (e.g., prototypes).
- Collaborate with JP HQ engineers on design, customization, and development.
- Travel for business within Germany, Eastern European countries, and Japan.
Job Requirements
- Business-level German and English (at least B2).
- 1-2 years of sales experience in the automotive industry.
- University degree, preferably in business, economics, or engineering.
- Ability to explain and sell technical and complex products.
- Understanding of the automotive industry.
- Persistence in challenging environments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Driver\'s license.
