Job Description
Join as Hyground's first Forward-Deployed Engineer to own enterprise customer accounts end-to-end. You will bridge the gap between engineering and field deployments, shipping production code to unblock customers while coaching teams toward independence. Reporting to the Founding Engineer, you'll define the delivery methodology that scales our operations from ten to thirty accounts.

What You Will Do
- Own the technical lifecycle of 3-4 enterprise accounts, managing everything from initial deployment on Kubernetes or VMware to incident response and renewal readiness.
- Ship production-ready adapters and workarounds within days to unblock customers, ensuring integrations with stacks like Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow meet engineering standards.
- Coach customer engineering teams to independence, moving accounts from high-touch support to self-sufficiency through pairing, workshops, and structured documentation.
The ideal candidate
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, Platform, or DevOps roles with hands-on Kubernetes expertise and a proven ability to debug production incidents under pressure.
- Strong software engineering skills with the ability to write and ship production code across various languages and infrastructure environments like VMware or Docker Swarm.
- Professional fluency in German (C1) and English, based in Germany, and willing to travel for on-site workshops with DACH region enterprise customers.
