Summary
The Global Head of Services (80–100%) is a senior leadership role based at the headquarters of the Jakob Müller Group in Frick, Switzerland. The position holds worldwide responsibility for customer service and the spare parts business across 11 locations and over 80 markets. Key tasks include leading a team of about 35 employees, driving the transformation and continuous development of the service organization, and collaborating closely with management to optimize the service strategy. The role also emphasizes customer focus, innovation in service offerings, and responsibility for both the Customer Center and the innovation lab. Candidates should have a technical background, substantial international leadership experience in customer and spare parts service, strong analytical and strategic skills, and fluency in German and English. Your Area of Responsibility
- Leadership & Development: Lead our Swiss service organization with around 35 employees, foster your team in a targeted manner, and achieve excellent results together.
- Global Responsibility: Manage international customer service and the spare parts business, continually developing these areas—including the associated processes.
- Strategic Development: Together with the management team, develop and optimize the Services Strategy 2030.
- Customer Focus: Ensure first-class customer support and guarantee professional, efficient service processes worldwide.
- Innovation: In close cooperation with Product Management and Marketing, develop new service offerings and Service Level Agreements that create real added value for our customers.
- Application: Take responsibility for the Customer Center as well as our innovation lab (LAB 1887) and drive the development of forward-looking solutions.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Completed technical education; further training in strategy, business administration, and/or business management is an advantage.
- Many years of leadership and practical experience in international customer service and spare parts business in an industrial company are required.
- Distinct leadership qualities, high initiative, and resilience, combined with a hands-on mentality.
- Strong customer and market orientation, negotiation skills, and a keen sense for business opportunities.
- Analytical and conceptual strengths, as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
