2. Context and mission of the position
The EDM Technical Consultant is responsible for the installation, configuration, data migration and technical support of the Electronic Document Management solution Doc.SERIES for JBC Solutions SA's SME clients in French-speaking Switzerland. He/she ensures the proper functioning of our clients' document environments and contributes to their digital transformation.
JBC Solutions SA is an SME based in French-speaking Switzerland, specialised in the sale, installation and maintenance of printing and digital solutions. As part of the development of its Electronic Document Management (EDM) activity, the company is strengthening its technical team.
3. Main activities
Install and configure the Doc.SERIES solution (servers, client workstations, connectors) at clients' premisesConfigure filing plans, validation workflows, access rights and archiving rulesPerform document data migrations from clients' existing systemsEnsure the integration of Doc.SERIES with business tools (ERP, email, network scanners)Diagnose and resolve level 1 and 2 technical incidents (telephone and remote support)Train users and functional administrators of clients in the use of the solutionWrite technical documentation, installation procedures and intervention reportsEnsure follow-up and evolutionary maintenance of existing installationsCarry out occasional on-site interventions at clients in French-speaking SwitzerlandCollaborate with the sales team for the technical scoping of new projects

Guarantee the quality and deadlines of installation and support interventionsEnsure customer satisfaction through reliable and responsive technical serviceEnsure compliance with internal security procedures and data confidentialityReport customer needs and product improvement areas to managementKeep technical skills up to date on developments of the Doc.SERIES solution

Technical skills
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management (EDM) systems, ideally Doc.SERIES or equivalent solutionProficiency in Windows Server environments, databases (SQL Server) and networksBasic scripting/automation knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript) appreciatedUnderstanding of document processes and legal archiving (LPD, Swiss standards)Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in French and English
Soft skills
Customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skillsAutonomy, rigour and organisational skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesGood written and oral communication in French; German or English is an assetTeam spirit and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders (clients, colleagues, partners)Category B driving licence (occasional travel to clients in French-speaking Switzerland)
6. Education and experience
Training such as IT CFC, ES technician, Bachelor in business IT, or equivalent experience deemed sufficient.
Previous experience in the printing solutions sector, business IT or IT technical support is an asset but not a prerequisite: motivated junior profiles are also considered, with appropriate support and internal training.

Activity rate: 80%

Travel: As needed, to clients in French-speaking Switzerland
