pA global reinsurer, part of a leading international insurance group, is expanding its Analytics team and is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst in Zurich. This position offers the opportunity to analyse underwriting performance, provide constructive challenge to underwriting teams and report directly to senior management. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare analysis and documentation for annual and class portfolio reviews. /li liChallenge underwriting teams on strategy, performance and pricing adequacy. /li liMonitor key performance indicators and track results against business plans. /li liWork with Underwriting, Pricing, Risk and Reserving teams to identify areas of concern and opportunity. /li liConduct market research to benchmark the portfolio. /li liPrepare reports for executive committee meetings. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li5+ years of insurance experience, with reinsurance experience essential. /li liDegree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a related field. Actuarial qualification or data science background preferred. /li liExperience in actuarial, analytics or portfolio teams. /li liStrong communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence underwriters. /li liProficiency in analytical tools.
