I\’m back partnering with one of my best clients in Germany who manufacturer not only their own EV charging solutions, but also products across the full solution, including inverters and BESS.
They are a leading company with a global platform, including over 15 offices across Europe alone.
I\’m now looking to speak to anyone who thinks they have the relevant skill set to be a successful Sales Director for their EV charging solutions team, this includes products for both AC and DC chargers, hybrid solutions and grid integrations.

With this position being Director level, there are key requirements and skills needed to be successful, they include the following:
- 15 years of experience in the renewable energy markets, EV charging being the preference.
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience, ideally with teams larger than 15.
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical engineering, renewable energy or other engineering related fields.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Deep understanding of EV charging solutions.
- Strategical thought process.
- Clear track record in managing high performing teams in the industry.
Some of the immediate key responsibilities you could expect would be:
- Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for EV charging solutions.
- Lead the design, development and deployment of EVCS technologies.
- Oversee technical and commercial feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with other departments such as R&D, engineering and product to enhance the products and services provided.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with customers.
- Managing budgets and forecasts for the EVCS division.
- Support and develop the team to increase sales figures.
